Is non-alcoholic red wine good for you?

It has been found that, in moderation, red wine can be good for you due to its antioxidant qualities. It can also reduce the risk of heart disease or a heart attack, as long as it isn’t drunk in excess.

Due to many non-alcoholic red wines being dealcoholised red-wine, they contain similar benefits to alcoholic red wine, but remove the part that can be harmful, the alcohol.

Many people switch to alcohol-free for the health benefits, removing the risks associated with drinking alcohol, generally improving their overall health.

As non-alcoholic red wine contains almost every ingredient normal red wine does, just with no alcohol, they contain similar antioxidant qualities and usually way less calories and sugar than red wine does, meaning they’re definitely way better for you, and somewhat good for you.

Just like everything, drinking alcohol-free red wine is about balance, we wouldn't recommend switching out all your water breaks for a non-alcoholic shiraz, but they’re certainly better for your skin, heart and general health than red wine is.
